Sacramento County supports Intensive
Family Finding to increase permanency for youth who have been in foster care
for two years or more. Sacramento County believes the first preference
for a youth who is not able to remain safely in their home, is to reside with a
family member. We value the importance of maintaining familial
connections for youth in foster care and believe these connections will lead to
better outcomes for youth.
